4th generation Business

About us

Our family’s business journey began in the early 1900s with Sri N. A. Annaparaja and his brothers, who established the first Cotton Ginning Factory and ventured into Cotton Textiles and Agri-Commodity trading in Theni.Sri N. A. Ramachandra Raja, son of Sri Annaparaja, expanded these businesses, laying the groundwork for future success.  He founded Textile Mills, Steel foundry, Entertainment industry, while continued to do Agriculture in hereditary lands. Today, the legacy continues under Sri N. R. Alagaraja Family, who manage operations in Theni. We have had our share of setbacks, and as we get back to the path of  growth we commit ourselves to values passed on, with current business practices for growth and value generation.

The Journey of NAR Samvruddi

Sri N.A. Annaparaja and his brothers began their business journey as steel importers, scrap traders and toll agents for the Travancore Maharaja in Theni. This led to the establishment of the first Cotton Ginning Factory, as well as ventures in cotton textiles and agri-commodity trading.

Known for his generosity, Sri N.A. Ramachandra Raja became a respected philanthropist, founding educational institutions and supporting the differently abled. He started a school in the name of his father,an elementary school and Polytechnic in the name of his mother which have groomed hundreds of students to become stalwarts in various fileds today.
